Studies conducted at the Laboratory of Toxicology and Environmental Technologies are based on the evaluation of chemical, physical and biological threat condition in natural environment, with particular regard of various ecosystems, as well as their impact on organisms inhabiting these ecosystems, including human being.
The scientific mission of Hydrobiology and Water Protection is basic research in the field of hydrobiology, i.e. freshwater and saltwater ecology. They also cover works on the relationships between organisms and the environment in terms of accuracy of ecosystem operation.
