Recent history, diplomacy of the Second Polish Republic and Polish political thought of the 19th and 20th centuries, sovietology.

Achievements

  • Award of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage in the "Traces of Memory" competition for the book Polish Soviet School;
  • Klio II degree award for the book Poland 1939 towards the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact;
  • The prize Jerzy Giedroyc awarded by the Senate of Maria Curie-Skłodowska University for the book Bolshevism - totalitarianism - revolution - Russia (vol. 1-2);
  • International "Visegrad Award" awarded by four Academies of Sciences: Polish, Czech, Slovak and Hungarian for lifetime academic achievements;
  • Honorary Award Henryk Wereszycki and Wacław Felczak, awarded by the Jagiellonian University History Department for editing the Letters of Jerzy Giedroyc and Czesław Miłosz;
  • The best publication on the history of Polish diplomacy (Polish foreign policy 1938–1939. Four decisions of Józef Beck) awarded in 2012 by the Scientific Council for History at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs;
  • Medal Tadeusz Manteuffel awarded by the Institute of History of the Polish Academy of Sciences;
  • Silver medal "Distinguished for Culture Gloria Artis";
  • Bene Merito prize of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland for special merits for activities in strengthening Poland's position abroad.
