Project/study aim
The main aim of the project is investigating to what degree the new generation of students may be changed from "unteachable” to “teachable” - without "revolutionizing" the whole educational system. New technologies may come in handy.
The project is innovative in its nature. In Europe the problem of “unteachable” students is on the increase, which signifies the necessity to create educational resources for teachers and new generations of teachers, who will have to face the growing number of students suffering even from school phobia. Students – future teachers - are not adequately prepared for the work with this type of student with learning difficulties, because teacher training changes 10 times slower than the knowledge about the needs to introduce changes in the educational system, and thus teaching methods, or even the change of approach to teaching altogether, where the role of the teacher becomes the role of the mentor supporting the student in gaining knowledge and skills. Technology is also interwoven in the whole process on many dimensions.
