History of execution

The inventory was one of the tasks of elaborating “Inventory, evaluation and notion of modernization of elements of the system of passive flood prevention of Warsaw from the side of the Vistula River and its tributaries” prepared by a design studio “WAGA-BART” Zbigniew Bartosik on the request of the Capital City of Warsaw. The research was conducted during 19 field studies in the period 29.06.2016 – 27.07.2017.

Effect of implementation

As a result of the inventory conducted, in the area of the between floodbanks area Warsaw from the side of the Vistula River, nine species of gragonflies were identified, among which two subject to legal protection (river clubtail and green snaketail), five species of butterflies, members of gossamer-winged butterflies, as well as a few species of rarely met beetles from the ladybugs family (Scymnus interruptus, S. limbatus, Nephusredtenbacheri).
